SERVICE
used by a player to launch the ball over the net to start a rally. ( UNDERHAND, OVER HEAD SERVE, HOOK SERVE, JUMP SERVE, ETC. )

the second step of passing that aims to “set” the ball into a position that allows the hitter to spike it over.

ROLLING
where the player steps out and reaches towards an extremely low ball to the side where the ball is falling ( a.k.a. rolling dig )
SLIDING
where the player takes one large step in the direction of the ball, then drops down onto his side and slide ( a.k.a. stride-slide move )
DIVING
a player lands on the floor with his body in an attempt to save the ball with his arm or arms before it hits the floor, it is called a “sprawl” or “dive." This is considered an emergency move.
KILL
the hardest attack or spike that is when the ball finds the floor on the opponent's side and is unreturnable leading to a sure point
FOOTWORK
an athlete's leg muscles’ skill or ability to be well prepared to react to the opponent's actions and the ball.
AGILITY
player’s skill or ability to quickly move in any direction on the court anytime.
SPEED
player’s skill or ability to move towards the ball in the court anytime in the shortest possible period of time.
