colon cancer
most dangerous form, need a colonoscopy to detect; will need a colon resection
diverticulosis
little sacs (diverticuli) that develop on the walls of the colon
crohn's disease/ulcerative colitis
autoimmune disorder, inflammatory bowel disease; causes abdominal pain, severe diarrhea, malnutrition
jaundice
yellow color when bile pigment gets in the bloodstream; liver isn't working properly
pancreatitis
inflammation of pancreas; cause unknown except may be from alcoholism
pyloric stenosis
narrowing of the pyloric sphincter that blocks the passage of food from the stomach into the duodenum; causes projectile vomiting and will need surgery
