Oral stage (birth to about 1 years old)

oedipus complex- if the child is a boy, they are in love with their mother and want to kill their father

electra complex- if the child is a girl, they are in love with their father and want to kill their father

Latent Period (6 years old - puberty)
when the oedipus or electra complex are pushed into the unconscious mind
Genital stage (puberty-death)
adult sexuality and intimacy fully develops
libido is satisfied through intercourse
