When 2 objects are touching and a force is acting on them

Friction, push/pull tension, air resistance and reaction force

An object will continue at rest or at constant velocity unless acted on by a resultant force (non zero force)

A resultant force causes an acceleration

Acceleration (m/s^2) = force (N) divided by mass (kg)

Acceleration (m/s^2) = change in speed (m/s) divided by time taken (s)

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, reaction pairs

A stable situation in which forces cancel one another out
