The Middle Passage was the trade segment from Africa to the Americas.

Many African tribes sold out their own people.

Culture and economy were destroyed in Africa by the Triangle Trade.

In Europe, this trade system allowed for luxuries and new industries.

Those who remained in Africa lived in fear of enslavement and development soon became stagnant.

In the Americas, slaves were forced to work to grow crops.
