AP statistics chapter 7 Stats modeling the world third edition by David E. Bock

This chapter first introduces us to scatterplots, a graph that uses dots to display the value of data in a more precise way. In order to describe scatter plots and its values we need to know if there is a correlation between data: ● Direction: which tells us if the value of 2 variables go up or down together ● form: represents the values of numeric variables, showing the relationship between the variables. ● Strength: coefficient is a statistical measure of the strength of the relationship between the relative movements of two variables. The values range between -1.0 and 1.0.
