Arithmetic Sequence

A number sequence formed by adding a fixed number to each previous term to find the next term. The fixed number is called the common difference.

The most accurate trend line on a scatter plot showing the relationship between two sets of data

Linear Function

A function whose graph is a line. You can represent it with a linear equation.

Linear regression

A method used to calculate the line of best fit.

When y-values tend to decrease as the x-values increase, the two data sets have this.
