7.4 Quantifying Heat and Work
The calorimeter has a temperature and a stirrer.
The Glass stirrer mass of the solution is known by measuring the quantity of solution within the calorimeter.
During the reaction, the heat evolved and causes the solution's temperature to change.
The heat of reaction for the specific amount is measured ahead of time.
The Mg reacts completely if the HCl is sufficiently concentrated.
As a result of the reaction, the solution's temperature goes from 28.6 degC to 32.8 degC.
There are three parts to the conceptual plan.
