2.4 Prefixes and Equalities
To write a metric equality, use the numerical values of prefixes.
The smaller units are made from the values of the daily values.
One dollar is the same as 100 cents.
A decidollar is 0.1 of a dollar.
10 dimes are the same as 18 dimes.
It would be written as 1 mcg.
A camera with a width of 1mm.
The diameter of the eye's retina can be measured in centimeters, whereas the length of a nerve can be measured in millimetres.
There is a meter with 100 cm and 1000mm in it.
If we compare the lengths of a millimeter and a centimeter, we find that 1 millimeter is an eye.

The length of 1 m is the same as 10 dm, 100 cm, or 1000mm.

When you go to the doctor for a physical examination, your mass is recorded in kilograms, whereas the results of your laboratory tests are reported in grams, milligrams, or micrograms.
