Globe
Ball-shaped model of the entire planet
Equator
An imaginary line that circles the globe halfway between the North and South Poles.
latitude
The distance north or south of the Earth’s Equator
prime meridian
An imaginary line that circles the globe and breaks it into an eastern and western half.
Longitude
The distance east or west of Earth’s Prime Meridian.
Hemisphere
A half of the globe, divided by lines of latitude and longitude. North, South, East and West Hemispheres.
