Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.“

Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.

How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him and He will make your paths straight.

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds, we are healed.

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.“

“Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.“

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.“

Then He said to them all: “Whoever wants to be My disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow Me.“

“So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.‘“

Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God -- children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.“

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is -- His good, pleasing and perfect will.

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own.

For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.

Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith --and this is not from yourselves, it is a gift of God -- not by works so that no one can boast.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.

If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
